"Three Stella McCartney Bags, Three Failures"

I purchased three Stella McCartney handbags, and unfortunately all three had quality issues. One faded badly, another developed stitching problems, and my most recent bag lost its lettering and showed excessive wear on the handles and straps after only occasional use. I spent over two weeks going back and forth with customer service, repeatedly sending additional photos and often having to follow up just to get a response. My claim was ultimately denied. For a luxury brand, I expected much better quality and customer service. Very disappointing experience.

I swear, this site was testing my patience. I found three things I actually liked, got excited like I’d struck gold, and then every single size I needed was out of stock. The worst part is some pages make it look like the item is available until you click around and basically go on a whole scavenger hunt just to find out you can’t buy it. So frustrating. If it’s out of stock, just say that upfront instead of making me waste my time and emotionally commit to a sweater I’ll never own.

i mean, I really wanted to feel good about ordering from Stella McCartney, but my experience left me uneasy.

When the item arrived, something just felt off to me. The tags and packaging didn’t look quite right, so I reached out to support to ask about authenticity. The responses I got felt very generic, almost copy-pasted, and didn’t really answer my concerns.

Maybe the item was totally genuine, I don’t know. But the whole process made it hard for me to trust the order, and for the price, I expected clearer answers and better customer service.

"Packaging was just okay"
I ordered from stellamccartney.com and was excited when the package showed up, but the unboxing felt a little less special than I expected. The item itself was totally fine, which was a relief, but the box had a small dent and the paper inside was kind of crumpled up like it had been tossed in quickly.
Nothing was damaged, so I can’t really complain too much, but for the price I thought the packaging would feel a bit more polished and careful. It wasn’t a bad experience, just more average than I was hoping for.

"I was honestly shocked by how long shipping took"
I ordered from stellamccartney.com thinking it would show up in a few days, and wow, I was so wrong. It felt like it took forever, and there were barely any updates along the way, which made it even more frustrating. "Expected better size availability"
I really wanted to like shopping here, but every time I find something I actually want, my size is already sold out. The item still shows up on the site, but then it’s just random sizes left, which gets annoying fast. I checked back a few times expecting they might restock or update things, but nothing really changed. For the prices they charge, I expected the size availability to be a lot better. It’s just not worth the hassle for me.

I sent the item back and thought the refund would be quick, but it took way longer than I was expecting. I kept waiting and checking, and after a while I just get really tired of it. Not really the kind of service I was hoping for after I already returned the item

The replies took ages and seemed like generic copy-paste answers. Then they just closed my complaint without actually fixing anything or giving a proper explanation. "Returning my order was way more stressful than it should’ve been"
I didn’t expect returning something to turn into such a headache. I ordered from this store because I’d heard good things, and it’s not exactly cheap, so I figured the process would be smooth. I was trying to get the return sorted in between work and a million other things, and the return label took forever to come through. Customer service barely responded, and when they did, it didn’t really help much. Now it’s been weeks and I still haven’t seen the refund. Maybe I just got unlucky, but for a store charging these prices, this really isn’t okay. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

This feels a bit like greenwashing to me. The product itself was fine, but the sustainability claims didn’t really line up with the amount of packaging it came in, especially the extra plastic wrap tucked around everything.

I reached out to Stella McCartney aftercare about getting my bag repaired, and I was confused by the whole process. The replies were slow, nobody seemed to give me a clear answer, and I kept getting sent from one person to another without really knowing what was happening. For something at this price, I expected the support after buying to be a lot better. It kind of felt like once I’d paid, I was left to figure it out on my own.

The items were nice, I’ll give them that, but the pricing setup felt dumb. Everything looked fine until checkout, then suddenly duties and shipping got tacked on and the total changed. It’s not that hard to show the real price earlier, so it was annoying having to deal with that little surprise at the end.

I ordered my usual size it was just annoying. The sleeves were super tight, but the body was weirdly loose, so I have no idea who this was supposed to fit.
